Anyone close to me over the past year can tell you that I have put the fanatical back into fan with my undying obsession with the music of Sufjan Stevens. Last month my daughter Hannah poured gasoline on that fire by announcing that she was gifting Karyn and me with tickets to see The Man [...]

I’ve added a new link to my “regular reads” section to the right. (I’ve changed the name to “regular reads” from “daily reads” so I’m not lying anymore.)
If you like good writing from a thoughtful Christian, try out Culture Makers, the site for the collected writings of Andy Crouch. You may not agree with everything [...]

My friend Drew Trotter got to spend a day in Narnia…the film set that is! Drew was invited on the set of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, the feature film (to be released this December) based on C. S. Lewis’ Narnia Chronicles. He wrote about his experience in Christianity Today magazine. The article [...]

Oh yes…I plan to be there! Bill Mallonee has become my all-time favorite singer-songwriter, someone who has never written a song I didn’t like (and hes’ written tons!). I’ve seen him before solo, but never with his legendary band Vigilantes of Love, just recently re-formed.
