Recently I wrote in praise of the Take Away Show series at Blogotheque (“Spoon Videos on Blogotheque’s Take Away Shows“), and how their videos exemplify the theme of this blog: reveling in out-of-context contextualities. Blogotheque accomplishes this by taking bands off the stage and having them play in places or situations where you would never expect to see them.
Here’s another excellent example: Arcade Fire playing “Neon Bible” in a cramped freight elevator, and then “Wake Up” in the middle of a pressing concert hall crowd waiting for their stage show. Enjoy!
