Reader-response Criticism is always an interesting thing to explore.  Whether it&#039;s a line or a book, all reading is recontextualized.  The beauty of it is, we contribute to the meaning and writing of texts---including texts like the Bible---and this keeps reading fresh and tells us something about ourselves.

I&#039;ve had a idea for starting a blog based on a favorite Lewis text of mine (and no, I don&#039;t mean the Narnian Chronicles, though they are THE favorite), but I&#039;ve been reluctant for some time now (in large part due to last year&#039;s Westminster fiasco).  I might have to reconsider.</description>
