I think this is a more creative and probably rewarding (i.e. less controversial) blog idea for you. Reader-response Criticism is always an interesting thing to explore. Whether it's a line or a book, all reading is recontextualized. The beauty of it is, we contribute to the meaning and writing of texts---including texts like the Bible---and this keeps reading fresh and tells us something about ourselves. I've had a idea for starting a blog based on a favorite Lewis text of mine (and no, I don't mean the Narnian Chronicles, though they are THE favorite), but I've been reluctant for some time now (in large part due to last year's Westminster fiasco).
