From my son-in-law (Ethan is my five-year-old grandson):

We were driving home the other day and both kids were in the back seat wearing their fireman hats. Ethan asks me, “What does mine say?” I look and it has FDNY on the badge. I tell him that he is a firefighter in New York. He asks, “Is that where I was born?” I say, “No, you were born her in Durham.” He replies:

“Then I was laid in a manger?”
