I was driving somewhere and had a CD of a sermon of his someone had given me. I put the CD in, and for some reason it skipped to somewhere in the middle of the message. The first words of Ferguson I ever heard, delivered in that ground-rumbling Scottish brogue, were: "The Holy Spirrrrit knows the most wee sins of yourrr hearrrrt!!!" I pulled over to the side of the road and repented of seventeen things I hadn't even done. I will never ever forget the first time I heard Sinclair Ferguson’s voice.
