Prayer Request
Could I ask you, my friends and readers, to pray for a writing project I’m completing this week? I’ve been asked by Glenn Lucke, coauthor of the novel Common Grounds and co-creator of the team blog by the same name to write a piece for that blog. Common Grounds Online is dedicating this week of posts to the nation of Sudan. The team of regular writers for this blog includes many people I’ve read and respected for years, several of whom I know personally.
I’ve been asked by Glenn to write something coming out of my time this summer, with my wife and six others from our church, in Yei, Sudan. I’ll be putting the finishing touches on the post this evening, and would appreciate your prayers that I can communicate what we experienced with both passion and faithfulness. The piece should appear on Common Grounds this Thursday.

Have prayed and I’m looking forward to reading the post. I so appreciate the attention that CGO gives to these kinds of ministry.

Go Mark, go!! (picture massive crowd chanting along in an encouraging-yet-energizing, football stadium sort of way…)

Thanks, everyone. I do appreciate it.
And Justin…I’ll try not to drop the ball!
