Drew’s Day in Narnia

Narnia Base Camp - New ZealandMy friend Drew Trotter got to spend a day in Narnia…the film set that is! Drew was invited on the set of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, the feature film (to be released this December) based on C. S. Lewis’ Narnia Chronicles. He wrote about his experience in Christianity Today magazine. The article is available online here.

Drew is the President of the Center for Christian Study in Charlottesville, VA. I was on staff there for a while as librarian, and I also taught with his wife Marie at The Covenant School. Drew has a Ph.D. in New Testament Studies from Cambridge, is best buddies with Roger Ebert, and writes and speaks frequently on film.

    Mark,
If you’ll send me your email I have some things to send you. One, a new parishioner to your church that I want to introduce you to (great girl, UVa grad, dad is a PCA pastor friend of mine) and two, see if you can help me for a Sudan thing in early October.

feedbackcg@yahoo.com from there I’ll give you my “real” address that I never put anywhere on the web. :)

    You’ve got mail, Glenn!

Mark, I just found out that Drew is speaking on the Narnia movie at Penn in November as part of the Veritas forum. I’m looking forward to it!

I saw that, Christiana. I’m hoping to go for some of that; certainly for Drew’s talk if I can arrange my schedule.
