To any in the area capable: I will pay CASH MONEY for a recording of this, preferably via MP3. [I mean, not tons, but ... $10 seems right.]

  2. Mark Traphagen Says:

I have no idea if Liberti will record this or not.

If they do, I may have to top your offer to destroy it!

No, seriously, if it is recorded, I’ll be glad to see about getting you a copy, Geof.

  3. Tim Sharpe Says:

…i would love to see it downloadable off this page…

  4. Geof F. Morris Says:

    You’re thinking what I’m thinking, Tim. :)

  5. jason Says:

I certainly hope it goes well. Just don’t start talking about Lot going to Sodom . . .

  6. Mark Traphagen Says:

Drawing that out of Matthew 5:17-26 would be quite midrashic, would it not Jason?

  7. christiana Says:

mark, i would like to hear you preach. i’ve got too many commitments this Sunday to make it work, but keep us posted on future engagements!

  8. Mark Traphagen Says:

Well, Christiana, let’s see first if liberti ever invites me back after this time!

I will be spouting my heresy at both services, 10:30 a.m. at the Mennonite High School in Fairmount, and 4:00 p.m. at the Romanian Orthodox Church in Northern Liberties. Directions are on the liberit web site for anyone who would love to see a seminary student crash and burn.

  9. Geof F. Morris Says:

Man, Mark … your penchant for self-flagellation rivals my own. [Is your sense of ego as overblown, and you're using this as a way to assail it?]

  10. Rachel Says:

Mark, you will do GREAT! Mike and I are planning to come to one of the services.

  11. Mark Traphagen Says:

    Geof….bingo!

And Rachel…rats! Now I have to scrap that illustration about “those funny new neighbors that just moved in next to us”
