Sacred Journey: Light One Candle
As of this weekend, the Sacred Journey blog is one year old. SJ had a wonderful little private party during which he managed to completely cover himself in chocolate cake.
My thanks to those of you who for some reason read this regularly. I have been amazed by the number of people who do. To all of you, I apologize for its sporadicity (and if that’s not a word, it should be) recently, but Winter Hebrew, Westminster’s version of fraternity hazing, is now behind me and I hope to be more consistent in my posts.
Speaking of which, I realize there is a number of comments awaiting response from the “Is God Necessary?” posts below. I promise I won’t ignore them, but I want to spend the rest of this afternoon, before heading off to worship, finishing Peter Leithart’s provocative (and deliciously written) Against Christianity. (Jason, if you still read my blog, thanks ever so much for sending this my way. ) I’ll probably blog a review of this after I finish it.
As for right now, since Sacred Journey is just one year old, it’s time for his afternoon nap.

You’re most welcome — I hope it was provocative in a good way. I look forward to reading your review.

Happy birthday, Sacred Journey. One year old and learning Hebrew. Aside from a few kids in Israel, there can’t be many people who can make that claim!

Jason - oh, very good! It made me subscribe to his blog.
Pat - thanks for the wishes. The SJ is much better at his Hebrew than I am, I think. At least, when I looked at all the HTML stuff underlaying this site, it looked like Hebrew.
