There’s a church in my neighborhood that has one of those signs out in front. They went through a stage where every week there was another ludicrous little saying on the sign. I wish I could remember some of them, but I’ve repressed them all. As a Christian I was SO embarrassed. They either have a new pastor now, or the guy got a clue, because it’s been better lately.

Outside a local baptist church, “Trade in your piece for His peace.”

Where do they get these from and who do they thing they’re reaching?

There are actually services available, that churches pay for!, that provide these little quips for signs and bulletins.
