Name Dropper!
I know, everyone hates a name dropper…but who can resist!
My recent summary of Rev. Tim Keller’s sermon “Arguing with Jesus” brought forth a question from Greg Sharpe about the identity of Judas of Galilee, mentioned in the sermon as background for the Pharisees/Herodian’s questioning of Jesus about the head tax. We were set straight today by the preacher himself! Read Rev. Keller’s comment.
Why is this “name dropping”? If you don’t know who Tim Keller is, you should. He is the founding pastor of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Manhattan and a “guru” of city church planting ministry. These people know how to do it right.

What’s up with this Keller guy popping up everywhere lately? My best friend told me I NEED to do this Bible study of his that’s supposedly wonderful. I googled him the other day and found the church. If I were to find a job in NYC, I’d have to check the place out, fo sho.
