Tim: Thanks for the Greek "tips." I've got a high A average going into the final (which is this Wednesday) so I guess I've got all the points I can get. And an A- in Greek ain't bad, my friend!

Ha, Roger...I know where "down east" really is...but from where I am, I consider all of Maine to be "down east". (For the uninitiated, "down east" is Maine-speak for the northern coast of Maine)...and Rog, we were in Bangor this past Saturday for the National Folk Festival (which I'll write about some time)...sorry we didn't look you up, but it was our wedding anniversary, so...you know...

Dittos on the congrats and safe travel wishes.

Now that I've started Latin, I have much more empathy with you when you mention Greek. Latin is much easier, but I'm still learning anew the challenges of tackling a new language.

Godspeed on your studies! :)

I'm surprised you guys aren't starting normal classes yet. We finished up summer Greek a week ago, and just had our first class of Greek II. It's amazing how much you can forget in just one week!

BTW, make sure you get and keep every point you can. I ended up with an A- in summer Greek. Not bad, but I was 4 points away from an A. That would be 4 points anywhere. Remembering the breathing marks on one of the early quizzes would have put me over the top...grr...

But, I know it's not going to be my first A- down here! I'll definitely be keeping you in my prayers, both with the expanded family and continued scholastic endeavours! (yay spelling!)

Funny how you're heading "up" to "downeast".

(PS. Greenville isn't downeast. Are you going to Jonesport for a sight-seeing tour or something?)
