You saw it here first
My friend Rhonda captured the pictures below of her next door neighbor’s cow stuck in a tree fork. As a pop culture experiment, I want to help spread these pictures and see how far over the Internet they go.
I have a couple of friends who send out those forwarded emails all the time with subjects like “CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS????” or “THIS IS FOR REAL!!!!!”
I give them three months tops to send these back to me.

***COW UPDATE***
From Rhonda:
The cow has been freed!
The animal control guy (who didn’t seem to be the brightest) went and got 3 CDF (California Department of Forestry [firemen]) to help him. They put the cow on some boards and lifted her up high enough to get her head out. It only took a couple of minutes

Wow. I would have tried myself if I were in Rhonda’s place. Maybe she’s not too cow-friendly. Or when she approached, the cow wasn’t Rhonda-friendly.

That is funny! I live in an area where there are cows everywhere. I’ve seen cows do some silly things but never anything like this!

All kidding aside, I’m a little worried about the negligence of the owner of this cow. Rhonda said that they were gone much of the time this was happening. Cows cannot be left on their own.

I did not remember that you had these pictures on your blog. But this week someone linked to my blog from this page.
The ones I posted on my blog have long disappeared.
So, I’m glad I found them.

Rhonda,
The memory of The Cow must never die. Never!
